Wave International is a Resource Development firm with ~20 years of global experience in engineering, project delivery, project and asset management, and provides project strategies and solutions across battery minerals, mineral sands, bulk commodities and more.

We are seeking a Human Resources professional to work directly with the Wave International Senior Leadership to connect the HR, Safety & QA to the business goals of the company ensuring compliance to legislation, and best practice.

This position will suit a well organised, 10+ year experienced Human Resources professional seeking an opportunity in a multifaceted Engineering firm.

This role can be based in

Perth or

Brisbane

Position duties are not limited to:

Provide leadership to Recruitment Business partners
Respond to and close out adhoc / day to day HR and OH&S Issues and consult with CEO and or COO on matters requiring escalation.
To be available to all team members to discuss employee concerns of a sensitive nature and close out of these matters in an ethical, legislative compliance manner and ensure feedback is dealt with expediently.
Contribute to the development of employment contracts in global locations
Ensure policy and procedure is fit for purpose, current, reliable, and validated
Remuneration and salary survey data and feedback to line managers on salaries
To protect the integrity of the company by ensuring sensitive HR, Safety and Quality matters are dealt with expediently, or escalated for swift attention.
Ensure induction / training / safety contents in the HRIS is up to date to current company standards and legislation.
Support retention and development processes in consultation with Group Level HR & Training Managers.
Support the Wave International PDP Process ensuring adequate take up and staff / manager engagement
End to End Recruitment support and onboarding as required (including contractor prequalification)
Review, investigate and analyse injury, incident and hazard reports and implement agreed control measures.

Skills & Attributes Required:

Experience in a Senior HR role within a multidiscipline organisation
Management, leadership, team building, consulting, negotiation and facilitation skills
Strong working knowledge of human resource organisational policies and practices
