We are currently seeking a skilled passive fire technician to join our team. We are looking to hire someone for an immediate start (but we can be flexible on timings). This position is a full-time, ongoing position, working 38 hours per week.

Our office is located in Five Dock, but our technicians are usually only required to come in once or twice per week to collect stock & keys, so this role could suit technicians located anywhere in Sydney.

Job Requirements & Responsibilities:


You will primarily be responsible for the installation of passive fire systems on new construction projects and in existing residential buildings throughout Sydney.


Your responsibilities & requirements will include:

  • White card
  • Minimum 1 year experience working in passive fire
  • Valid driver's license & a good driving record
  • Understanding the types of compliant fire rating solutions
  • Knowledge of compliant tested methods of passive fire systems
  • Demonstrated good understanding of Australian Standards
  • Experience in inspecting & installing passive fire systems
  • Be able to work independently and possess sound problemsolving skills
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills
  • Good time management and organisational skills
  • Positive attitude and pride in workmanship
  • Exceptional Customer Service focus
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety regulations and company standards
  • Collaboration with team members to ensure projects are completed efficiently and effectively
  • Take photos of fire rated solutions & document according to company processes

Not Essential but Highly Regarded:


  • Reliable transportation would be preferable, but a vehicle may be provided if necessary.
  • EWP (Elevated Work Platform) license
