The Role

Our Maternal & Child Health Nurses provide advisory, supportive, andeducative primary health and support services to families with children frombirth to school age. In this role you will deliver Key Age and Stageconsultations to assess, screen and monitor the health, growth and physical,social, emotional and intellectual development of children from birth to schoolage and develop specific programs and strategies to assist families during thistime.

About you

We are looking someone who is passionate and hasprevious experience in providing advice, support, and education tofamilies with children from birth to school age. You will have excellentinterpersonal skills, with a non-judgmental approach, and the ability tocommunicate with families, groups, other employees, and other serviceproviders.

You'll need:

Registered Nurse with the Victorian Board of the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.

Qualifications in Midwifery.

Qualifications and previous experience working as a Maternal & Child Health Nurse.

Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Proven experience to manage own time, determine priorities, plan and organise workload.

Successful applicants are required to apply for and satisfactorilyobtain a National Police Check and Working with Children's Check.
