ACE Materials Handling Pty Ltd is an Australian owned engineering and materials handling company that has been operating since 1991 with branches in Sydney, Newcastle, Brisbane, Gladstone, Brendale, Darwin, Gold Coast, Cairns, Canberra and Townsville.


We are currently seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented Automation Technician with experience in PLC/HMI Interfacing, Motor drive integration & Industrial Control Systems.

  • Minimum Certificate 3 in Electrical Trade Qualification (Higher qualifications such as Engineering Qualification are also encouraged to apply)
  • Experience with PLC/HMI Interfacing
  • Motor drive integration Experience
  • Experience in Industrial Control Systems
  • White card (or ability to obtain)
  • Current Driver's License
  • The ability to problem solve with strong diagnostic skills
  • Great customer focus and skills
  • Excellent time management
  • Administratively competent at completing paperwork
  • Positive attitude and approach to challenges

Desired qualifications/experience for this role:

  • Hold a current Electrical Trade Qualification
  • CPR/LVR and/or First Aid Certificate

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Overtime
  • Weekend availability
