Due to ongoing growth of the WA business we are interesting in speaking with Development Professionals (Assistant Development Managers) to join Stockland's Communities Development team in Perth.


Working within an experienced team you will have touch point across the entire development lifecycle and be mentored and supported through your career growth however previous experience with the front end process would be advantageous.


Key Responsibilities

  • Work with the Profit Centre Manager to ensure the Project is scoped, designed and delivered in accordance with the business strategy, agreed vision and profitability levels
  • Support project delivery to ensure schedule, revenue and cost objectives are met.
  • Assist with driving the sales and marketing activities to achieve the business plan objectives.
  • Engagement and management of internal and external stakeholders, including authorities.
  • Assist with preparation and maintenance of financial models for current and prospective projects.
  • Working with the Project Director to control and monitor development budgets and financial reporting.
  • Assist with monitoring progress on site, participate in site meetings and monitor actions out of these meetings.
  • Work alongside the Project Director with implementation of Residential Sustainability Policy and community development.
  • Procurement and payment of consultants, contractors and suppliers.
  • Use your business acumen to monitor the market and competitor activity to maintain competitiveness.

About You

  • We are seeking experienced property graduates with experience working in the property industry looking to progress their career in Development.
  • Degree qualified in a related discipline with prior relevant experience in planning, construction or the development process including development or project management
  • Experience in the masterplanning and strategic planning phase of land development / masterplanned community subdivisions would be highly regarded
  • Ability to take initiative and be a selfstarter is a must; this is an autonomous role.
  • Demonstrated experience in achieving customer focused outcomes.
  • Basic knowledge of procurement processes and contract administration.
  • Ability to ask the right questions to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Critical thinker who is curious, creative and bold
  • Developed stakeholder management and influencing skills.
  • Resilience and excellent communication skills.
  • Commercial acumen.
  • Strong report writing skills.
