Hobson Health Recruitment are proud to be working exclusively with a high-profile family seeking and experienced care worker.


The Role
As the Home Support Coordinator you will be working with a high-profile client.


Your primary role will be to ensure that the family member is supported to maintain their current wellbeing for as long as possible by extending care across the day and working as part of a small and dedicated team who respect the family's privacy.


Working in partnership with the House Manager and Housekeeper (who works across two family properties), you will ensure the clients care needs are met, their home is restful, whilst working in harmony with other team members.


Some of the duties include, however not limited to.

  • Work in the client's home to provide personal care, medication assistance, social support, respite care, shopping support, transport assistance, homeexercise programs.
  • Work with the multidisciplinary team to ensure physical and emotional needs of client are met
  • Build and authentic relationships with the client & their families, and work together to ensure values, independence & positivity are the heart of your visits
  • Be an empathetic support during difficult times
  • Ensuring evening medication is taken and the client is settled for the evening at bedtime.
  • Coordination with key family members of visits and appointments to minimise fatigue.
  • Cooking and or supporting the client to cook an evening meal.
  • Supporting the client to remain active and doing so safely.


The key to this position is an ability to quickly build rapport with the client by respecting their privacy and maintaining their independence safely.


  • To be successful in this post you will have / be:_
  • Certificate III in Aged Care, Community Care, or Individual Support (Aged Care)
  • It is desirable to have an intrinsic connection to the Jewish community or speak Hebrew.
  • Experience as a Care Worker with a passion for Community Care and supporting vulnerable people.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and understanding of the English language both verbally and written.
  • A National Police Check, CPR and First Aid certificates are required in this position.
