Women's & Children's Health Network provides state of the art health care for women, babies, children and young people across South Australia.

We are the state's leading provider of specialist care for children with acute and chronic conditions as well as being SA's largest maternity and obstetric service.


Our community-based services also reach hundreds of thousands of babies, children and young people, their families and communities across South Australia through our various services and programs in areas such as our Mental Health, Child & Family Health services, Youth Health and Aboriginal Health services.

The Opportunity


We currently have an exciting opportunity to join the Performance and Finance team as a
Assistant Business Manager,
full time in an
ongoing capacity.

As the Assistant Business Manager, you will be responsible for providing a quality administrative and business support service across the Divisions that includes:

  • providing financial and administrative management
- undertaking capital and minor equipment processes
- the provision of information and support regarding staffing, business and operational processes and policies,
- information management, business improvement that contributes to the Division's effective and efficient allocation of resources to enable service delivery.


About You


To be successful in this role, you will use your ability to communicate and negotiate effectively and concisely with all levels of management, staff and stakeholders.

You will demonstrate a high degree of initiative, drive and ability to work with mínimal if any direct supervision.

You will be able to persevere to achieve goals, stay clam under pressure and open to feedback and to cope with competing demands, priorities work and meet deadlines.


If you have experience in actively leading senior Managers in the management of administrative, workforce, financial and business resources at an operational level and in the monitoring of staff plans for budgeting and resource management purposes, then this role is for you.
