We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experience Facilities Manager to join our team at UniLodge, Cedar Pacific properties in Melbourne Central.


WHO YOU ARE
You are a natural leader with a proactive approach and demonstrated technical knowledge of property assets.

You are committed to maintain properties to the highest level of cleanliness and presentation as would be expected of a professional property management company.

Key to your success will be your proven facilities management experience and demonstrated ability to coordinate all OH&S issues and systems, including emergency management planning and contractor management.

Ideally you will have experience in one of the property sectors, preferably in a senior operations management role.

It's important that you're a strong communicator, and shall actively champion fostering a safe, secure and healthy living environment for all students.


YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Your responsibilities as Facilities Manager will include but not be limited to:

  • Accountable for managing the delivery of all Facilities Management services; stakeholder and service contractor management across Cedar Pacific properties
  • To provide exceptional service to all Customers
  • Maximise the financial return to UniLodge and the Owner
  • Assist the General Manager Portfolio (GMP) in a variety of tasks including but not limited to business planning for all buildings
  • Conduct tenders, negotiate and implement service agreements, on behalf of the owners
  • Contractor management to ensure organisational and legislative health, safety and environment obligations are met
  • Manage risk management, OH&S procedures and policies and undertake sustainability initiatives
  • Assist GMP to train and be responsible for the Handyman team within the Cedar Pacific Portfolio
  • Administration and accounting, including budgeting and reporting
