About the role


The primary purpose of the Bid Coordinator is to support the General Manager - Major Projects in providing a sustainable pipeline of work for the major projects business unit.


  • Coordinate the preparation and submitting of completed tenders for allocated projects
  • Generation of the appropriate project planning and management documentation as contractually required, and in accordance with UGL project management framework and best practice.
  • Participate in the bid and tender efforts as requested, to ensure that the capabilities and requirements of the respective operation and line of business applicable to the work being tendered are communicated and represented within the tender in such a way as to minimise risks during execution of the work.
  • Assist the General Manager
  • Major Projects in their daytoday activities including Manage and maintain executive schedules, including scheduling travel and conferences, making appointments, and making changes to appointments schedules

About you

  • Experience in MS Project, Primavera P6, or equivalent scheduling software.
  • Minimum 7 years experience working within either Rail, Road, Construction or Infrastructure Projects
  • Must have an Australian driver's licence
  • Strong communication skills (oral & written) including strong negotiation and influencing skills and the ability to establish effective working relationships with a variety of people at different levels both internally and externally.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently to organise and prioritise demands, handle multiple complex tasks simultaneously, set and meet deadlines and followthrough within a fastpaced environment with multiple and competing demands.
