The Supreme Court of Victoria, the highest court in Victoria dealing with the state's most serious criminal and civil cases, is comprised of the Court of Appeal and the Trial Division.

About the role
The Digital Officer is part of the Court's Communications and Engagement team, and works closely with Court staff and judicial officers on the Court's website and digital communications.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing content for the Court's website, and providing advice, guidance and practical digital support to staff and the judiciary on website updates to ensure the site meets legislated requirements and digital best practice.
- Troubleshooting issues with techical support providers to resolve problems, and developing the website to better meet users' needs.
- Coordinating the delivery of the Court's newsletter for the legal profession and Court users.
- Monitoring the Court's social media platforms and assisting with the development of the Court's strategic use of social media and digital channels.
About you
To be successful in the role you will have experience in working on public-facing websites, demonstrate sound judgment and a high degree of diplomacy when dealing with judicial officers and staff, to ensure outcomes are based on contemporary digital communication practice.
