Payroll Officer - 6 month contract to perm

  • Healthcare exp an advantage or Aged Care
  • Preceda knowledge an advantage

About the role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a payroll professional to take a step into a large payroll group.

Along with assisting the every day payroll processing, this role will be across multiple EBA's/Awards and will be using Neller Preceda on a daily basis.

The office is located in Sydney CBD and you'll have the opportunity to WFH once settled.

This is an initial 6 month contract with potential for permanency.

The responsibilities:

Reporting into the National Payroll Manager, the main responsibilities include:

  • Set up new starters/terminations
  • Update rostering compliance
  • Assisting with Single Touch Payroll file uploads each pay run
  • Managing Centrelink Paid Parental Leave payments
  • Maintaining & monitoring over payment register
  • Interpreting a number of EBAs/Awards
  • Assisting with reconciling wages clearing accounts
  • Payroll processing

The successful applicant will have:


  • Experience using Preceda an advantage but not a must

Ideally have experience working in the healthcare industry, but not a must:

  • Excellent communications skills
  • Be able to work in large, team environments
  • Is passionate about payroll
