ABOUT THE ROLE

Working in our global client's corporate office, you will work as a team of 2 Officers and you will report to and receive support from our Security Supervisor.

The role is a mix of reception officer duties, security patrols, record keeping, access control, CCTV monitoring, and assisting the facilities management team.

This is a people-facing role where the use of technology is key - so we are looking for someone with previous corporate security experience, strong verbal and written communication skills, problem-solving abilities, neat and tidy personal presentation, and exemplary customer service skills.


Responsibilities of the position include:


  • Use of the telephone system and internal message system (Skype/MS Teams), booking meeting rooms, and providing visitor passes to guests.
  • Direct and maintain the good order of the public from common areas.
  • Process incoming and outgoing mail, including courier deliveries and collections.
  • Conduct regular security patrols of the site, inline with designated patrol routes.
  • Maintaining records of patrols and security incidents on site.
  • Monitor site access control systems and CCTV.
  • First Aid Officer and Fire Warden duties.
  • Assist the facilities management team when required.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Hold a Victorian Security Licence (this must include the control room endorsement).
  • Hold a current First Aid & CPR Qualification (CPR must have been renewed in the past 12 months).
  • Be fully vaccinated against Covid19 (2 doses).
  • Experience with CCTV and using access control systems.
  • Computerliterate, and comfortable using the Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, Teams, etc.)
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to speak with people at all levels of an organisation.
