You will be an AV/ICT Trainee Technician.

This is a formal two-year traineeship undertaking:

Year

ICT30120 Certificate III Information Technology

Year

ICT40120 Certificate IV Information Technology

The full-time role will start with basic duties relevant to developing your AV and ICT skills, such as but not limited to:

Tasks supporting the Senior Tech assigned to an Installation project
Tasks supporting the Senior Tech assigned to Service work
Basic rack building
Cable terminations
Commissioning basic AV equipment
Taking Tier 1 support calls capturing basic details
Undertake Tier 1 remote monitoring

- confirm operation of customer systems

Deliveries of equipment to customer sites
Office housekeeping

Successful completion of the Traineeship could lead to a permanent full-time role as a Junior AV/ICT Technician, with the potential for promotion to a senior role.

Applicants will need to have an aptitude for learning technical tasks and systems with the ability to troubleshoot IT issues.

This position is based in Artarmon but within 6 months you will be visiting customer sites and undertake on-site activities in liaison with senior support.

A Provisional Drivers Licence is required.

Hours:
Full-time, Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week
