    About the role

    The Chief Risk, Safety and Compliance Officer (CRSCO) is a keysenior management role within Central Australian AboriginalCongress, reporting directly to the General Manager of HumanResources. The CRSCO is responsible for developing, implementing,and overseeing the organisation's risk management, safety andcompliance programs. This role requires a dynamic individual withstrong leadership skills, exceptional analytical abilities, and adeep understanding of risk management, safety management andcompliance practices within the Aboriginal healthcare sector.

    About you

    As an experienced professional, you will have demonstratedexperience in leading a sophisticated risk, safety and compliancefunction in a complex and diverse healthcare setting.

    In addition to the above, you will demonstrate thefollowing:

    • Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, law, ora related field. A master's degree and/or relevant professionalcertification (e.g., Certified Risk Manager, Certified Compliance &Ethics Professional) is preferred.
    • Proven experience in risk, safety and compliance management ata senior level, preferably within the healthcare sector, with astrong understanding of relevant laws, regulations, and industrystandards.
    • Proven leadership experience, including the ability to lead,mentor, and develop a team.
    • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-makingskills, with a keen attention to detail.
    • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with theability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at alllevels of the organization.
    • A commitment to the principles of Aboriginal community controland a demonstrated understanding of the social, political, andeconomic issues affecting Aboriginal people in CentralAustralia.
