We're on the hunt for a suitably experienced
Payroll Officer to undertake this integral role in the Vix Finance team.

You'll be managing pay cycles and payrolls across the APAC region, alongside calculating employees' compensation, updating our internal payroll databases, and managing the relationship with our payroll software provider.

You'll work closely with other Corporate team members, including Finance and HR.


What will you be responsible for?

  • Accurately process fortnightly and monthly payroll for 200 employees both in Australia and New Zealand to ensure it complies with the relevant awards and legislation. This includes processing overtime, bonus, deductions, and allowances
  • Ensure that reporting and payment of all State and Federal obligations such as PAYG, Payroll Tax, Superannuation, Worker's Compensation return, and Child Support are completed in a timely manner
  • Answer all payroll related queries and find resolution to issues such as but not limited to superannuation, taxes, leave entitlements, overtime, and ADP access issues
  • Maintaining an accurate payroll records by updating our payroll database to reflect changes to employment, superannuation, and terminations
  • Calculate bonus, termination, and redundancies
  • Accurately prepare and posting of payroll journals to the accounting system
  • Assist in month end reporting and any other ad hoc reporting requirements
  • Significant experience in a similar position
  • High attention to detail and organisational skill
  • Good knowledge of labour legislation
  • Timemanagement skills and an ability to work to deadlines
  • Discretion in handling confidential information
  • Experience with ADP Payforce preferred
