SC Johnson Professional APAC is getting ready to move house


The next stage in our incredible growth story is for us to relocate to the parent company's state of art Campus at Lane Cove.

This growth has demanded we increase our team size and the expectation is this will facilitate the continued evolution and expansion within the Asia Pacific Region.


As a result, SC Johnson Professional is requiring a highly organised and driven Logistics associate, to manage all SC Johnson Professional Australia's import/export orders and 3rd party contract warehouse road freight orders to ensure dispatch on time and delivery in full.

This role is graded and referred to within SC Johnson Professional as
_Senior Analyst, Logistics Operations._


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage sea freight orders with customers and suppliers
  • Manage 3rd party contract warehouse road freight orders, ensuring they are dispatched on time
  • Manage and report on road freight performance to target (% spend & DIFOT)
  • Ensures Import containers across APAC are unloaded on time to avoid penalties
  • Ensure the relevant documentation is provided in timely manner for all import and export orders across the network
  • Manage all SC Johnson Professional enquiries and documentation relating to these responsibilities
  • Ensure regulatory & workplace safety compliance with the relevant legislation for the above responsibilities including ADG, IMDG, chain of responsibility etc

Experience and Skills:

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar logistics role, or recent graduate in the Logistics field
  • Certified in IMDG Code for the Transportation of Dangerous Goods by Sea. If this has lapsed, we can support you in gaining this certification
  • Demonstrated experience with SAP/ ERP systems (JDE/Sage/Oracle)
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Analytical and data driven
  • Good computer literacy (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
