About the role
We are seeking a permanent Mechanical Trade qualified Fitter to join the team based at Geelong Port.
This role will see you responsible for a broad range of mechanical servicing, maintenance, installations and upgrades of fixed and mobile plant and equipment.
This role will provide the opportunity to assist in managing shutdowns. GrainCorp has training and development pathways that encourage participation and personal development.Specifically, you'll be responsible for preventative and corrective maintenance tasks including:
- Fault finding and repairs to mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems,
- Attending to equipment failure or breakdowns as they may occur,
- Preparing and submitting maintenance reports as requested,
- Record keeping using our SAP Maintenance platform for compliance.
