AV is seeking an experienced education coordinator to provide delivery and logistics expertise to the Continuing Education team within our Operational Capability Department.

This is a full time, permanent position currently based in Blackburn North (hybrid WFH options available).

About the role
Reporting to the Lead Continuing Education, the responsibilities of this position will include, but are not limited to:

  • Coordinate the delivery of Continuing Education online and in-person courses for operational staff.
  • Liaise extensively with external vendors and stakeholders across the organisation including regional and metropolitan representatives.
  • Collaborate with Rosters staff to coordinate delivery plans.
  • Provide input into the delivery of curriculum in conjunction with internal stakeholder groups and committees.
  • Coordinate course and program evaluation processes.
  • Assist in the development of a performance based, collaborative culture to foster strong development and continuous improvement.
  • Develop program plans for curriculum delivery and review schedules for curriculum within the scope of the team.
About you


To be considered for this position you will possess:

  • Completion of a degree or relevant industry certification with proven subsequent relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of training and relevant experience.
  • Relevant, demonstrated, and comprehensive experience in program coordination and/or education administration and/or logistics.
  • Experience in coordinating evaluation processes for education pieces.
  • Extensive experience with using a Learning Management System.
  • Please note that during delivery of classroom workshops you may need to be contactable from 7:00 am


It is expected that you have an understanding and extensive experience in developing program delivery plans and building rapport with internal and external stakeholders with a knowledge of workplace training and education systems, frameworks, strategies, and the flexible alternatives for the delivery of education and training.

It is also expected that you are proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

This position is graded at AV4. The AV grade salary range for an AV4 position is $97,609 to $122,156 plus 10.5% superannuation. The expectation is that employees will commence at the base of the grade applicable to a position.
