- Oversee the day-to-day operation of the Concierge and Bell Desk departments, ensuring the promotion of position guest relations and a welcoming environment.
- Assist guests with special requests, requirements; solve problems as well as assure guests' comfort and satisfaction.
- Recruit, develop and train the Concierge and Bell Desk team (including performance reviews)
- Respond to guest feedback and implementing changes to prevent reoccurrence
- Supervise and add value to the activities of all team members by providing leadership to ensure maximum productivity and guest satisfaction.
- Curate memorable experiences at a 5-star level to ensure guests are provided the best recommendations throughout their journey.
- Create a positive work environment that facilitates team member motivation, builds morale and teamwork.
- Manage the bell team with scheduling, performance management and training & development procedures.
- Extensive leadership experience in Hotel or Guest Services environment
- Excellent knowledge of Sydney, tourist attractions, restaurants, theatres, sporting events, harbour cruises, fashion and retail
- Outstanding presentation and communication skills
- The ability to speak a second language (highly regarded but not essential)
- Adaptable with exceptional interpersonal skills
