The Role


The Development Manager is responsible for the identification, assessment and delivery of new housing developments and redevelopment of existing assets which supports CHL's strategic direction and growth strategy.

Working closely with the State Manager and the Property Services team, you will identify and assess new development opportunities, prepare development feasibilities and project evaluations and coordinate delivery of projects through engagement with multi-disciplinary consultancies across design, planning and delivery ensuring effective management of project budgets.


About You


To be successful in this role you will have demonstrated experience in leadership, project management and delivery to meet time, budget and quality outcomes.

Experience in the property development process is essential.


Essential Criteria:


  • Minimum 35 years' experience in similar role within property development, housing, project management or related field.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in property development or related discipline highly desirable.
  • Commitment to the right of every person to good quality housing.


Please note that satisfactory police check is required for all staff and those with client related responsibilities are required to provide a NDIS and Working with Children Check (WWCC).
