Digital, Technology and Data?


The purpose of Digital, Technology and Data is to design, build and maintain products, services and experiences that Australian's love and trust, while delivering a sustainable future for Australia Post.

The key areas that Customer Experience and Digital Technology is responsible for include Customer Experience, Customer Services, Decipha, Identity and Financial Services, Digital Channels, Data Science, Data Commercialisation, Product Engineering and Platforms, as well as Technology.


Position Purpose:

Delivery focus includes estimations, design and development work to time, budget and quality targets in accordance with appropriate standards.

Overall responsibility for ensuring service delivery meets business demand in line with technical and strategic patterns, delivers business value in a cost effective and timely manner and that the service provided fulfils the requirements and enhances the security posture of the Australia Post Group.


What we're looking for

  • Experience in running an operational directories practice supporting critical business services in a medium to large enterprise
  • Extensive delivery experience across Active Directory, Azure Active Directory and supporting technologies.
  • Demonstrated experience in the management and governance of Enterprise Directory environments in line with security best practice
  • Certified Microsoft Identity and Access Administrator
  • Experience in development and maintenance of scripting languages.
  • Experience with version control and code management technologies (eg. GitLab)
  • Experience with workload management and delivery tooling (eg. Jira)

_What will I be doing in this role?_

  • Responsible for the operation, support and enhancement of critical directory platforms: Active Directory, Azure Active Directory and the services that they support including service management.
  • Demonstrates technical thought leadership and is strategically minded. Able to contribute to overall IAM Strategy and translate strategy into prioritised actionable outcomes.
  • Practice lead for a team of Identity professionals. Mentors team members in developing their technical skills and IAM domain knowledge.
  • Champions a culture of accountability and continuous improvement ensuring that practices and processes enable delivery and support operational excellence.
