Be Recruitment is looking for a passionate and experienced Adolescent and Family Caseworker to join a reputable Not-for-profit organisation in the Liverpool area.

About The Role


The Adolescent and Family Caseworker will assist young people who are assessed as at risk of significant harm (ROSH) or are vulnerable to being at risk of significant harm to live in a safe and nurturing home.

This will mean providing in-home parenting guidance, practical support and referrals to address the needs of the entire family unit.


The role will use a range of evidence-based approaches to address areas of concern and provide families with the tools they need to achieve their goals and reduce the risk of harm.

Working collaboratively across the agency and with external colleagues to support the family is central to the role's success.


About You
***To be considered for this position, you will have at least two years of experience working with vulnerable families in a casework capacity, preferably in Child Protection or Family Preservation. Other family-based casework experiences may be considered.

In addition, you will require the following:

  • Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or another relevant discipline
  • Ability to identify and respond to risk
  • Embedded understanding of Trauma-Informed Practice
  • Experience and knowledge of theoretical approaches when working with children and families, including strengthsbased approach and attachment theory
  • Working With Children Check
  • Willingness to undergo a National Criminal History Check
  • Full Australian driver's license
  • Meet current health order requirements as it relates to COVID 19
