Brand new Retrofit Double-Glazing franchise located in Western Melbourne looking for an experienced Labourer/Site Installer to join their team.

• Full Time Position

- $27 - $45ph Once Fully Trained

About the Business:

Thermawood are a well-respected Retrofit Double-glazing business that has been operating very successfully across Australia and New Zealand for over 15 years.

They have recently opened a brand-new franchise and have expanded into the West Melbourne market, with an area that spans from the Inner West to Ballarat.

Due to the uniqueness of their product and a huge demand in their services, they are looking for experienced labourer/site installer to join their team on a permanent basis to help continue the growth of the franchise.

Employees are generally promoted from within the company, and will initially start as a site installer, trained properly on the job from the ground up before being moved to more significant roles once they master the processes required.

Position Summary:

They are looking for an individual that is keen to play a key role in our quickly expanding team. They are looking for someone who has a willingness to learn, has a self-motivated and enthusiastic attitude.

You will be required to attend client's homes and convert their existing windows to double glazing using our patented system.

What we require:

Previous experience in the building/glazing industry.
Experience working with timber windows preferred but not essential.
Great problem-solving ability.
Friendly and outgoing person who can converse well with the clients.
A go getter - eager to learn with a strong work ethic.
Good Literacy and Numeracy skills.
Manual Driver's licence essential.
Organised and honest.
Must have your own Tool belt with basic tools.
No criminal convictions.
- (Travel will be required in this position from time to time dependant on job location)_


Job Specifics:

Disassemble Windows, remove sashes and prepare for modifying frames.
Use Routers, saws, and other hand tools onsite to prepare the windows for glass.
Installation of our double-glazing system.
Installation of seals, hardware and complete repairs or modifications as required.
Converse with the client, provide A grade customer service and treat their home with respect.
