Join us on Parramatta's positive transformation journey being responsible for helping lead the Aquatic operations at the Parramatta Aquatic Centre, opening in Spring 2023.


This position is responsible for leading an operational team of lifeguards, duty managers, and facilities service staff at the Parramatta Aquatic Centre to deliver safe and efficient services to the community.

On a daily basis, you will be responsible for:

  • the day-to-day general operations of the Parramatta Aquatic Centre with an emphasis on safety
- ensuring that the venue is complaint with best practice supervision principles (including rostering)
- providing training, guidance, and leadership to the operational team
- delivering high-level front-line customer service to all clients and stakeholders
- collaborating with the Safety and Facility Manager and other department heads to implement industry leading practices


About you**The
Essential Qualifications for the role are:
  • Current Pool Lifeguard qualification
  • Current Statement in Attainment in Aquatic Operations and Supervision
  • Current Statement of Attainment in Aquatic Management
  • First Aid and Advanced Resuscitation Certificates or equivalent qualification
  • NSW Working with Children Check

Preferred qualifications for applicants to have include:

  • AustSwim
  • Royal Life Saving or Swim Australia Teaching and/or Coaching qualification
  • Royal Lifesaving Approved Workplace Supervisor

We are offering an attractive annual remuneration from $93,903 to $103386, plus 10.5% super.
