About Recruitment Services:


The Recruitment Services branch within People, Safety, Culture and Communications (PSCC) provides expert advice and support to the department on all recruitment related matters, including attraction, selection, redeployment and other recruitment and retention practices.

Working within the department's vision for a justice and community safety system that works together to build a safer, fairer and stronger Victoria, Recruitment Services delivers consultative, progressive, innovative, fair and ethical recruitment solutions.

The Recruitment Operations team sits within the broader Recruitment Services branch.


About the Recruitment Operations Officer role:

The Recruitment Operations Officer reports to the Assistant Manager, Recruitment Operations and Recruitment Operations Supervisor, with day-to-day supervision and support provided by the Recruitment Operations Supervisor.


Some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining and facilitating systems and processes pertaining to recruitment delivery within a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Providing administrative and stakeholder support to a large Government Department
  • Providing authoritative, accurate and timely advice on recruitment policies, processes, and best practice recruitment methods.

About You:


  • Experience in providing administrative support and customer service, ideally within a large or complex organisation, and in working with sensitive and confidential information
  • The ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment with highvolume processing activity
  • A strong teamfocused mindset with the ability to collaborate and adapt to changing priorities.
