Peak Creative Arts Therapists Body (APAC)

  • 12month Contract Hours Per Week
  • 100% Remote role
As

Membership Professional Development Coordinator, you will


work closely with the CEO of this peak body for creative arts therapists to elevate professional standards, enhance professional development, improve member engagement, and promote the creative arts therapy profession through the provision of first class continuing professional development (CPD), clinical supervision and professional learning programs, conferences, webinars and events.

As part of a small, close knit and supportive national team you will assume end-to-end responsibility for the following in this hands-on role:


  • Strategic & Operational Planning implement a learning and development framework, develop a rolling L&D calendar to address the PD needs of members.
  • CPD Training
- manage _Approved Supervisor_ training, annual webinar program including content development delivery & evaluation

  • Conferences & Events manage educational/networking events, source speakers/facilitators
  • Educational Resources create content (newsletters/social media etc)
  • Stakeholder Engagement manage member queries/input etc
  • Budget Management/reporting assist with L&D budget, provide input for Board reports, manage risk, analyse data to inform delivery of a best practice standard
Ideally you will bring some experience of working with a member-based organisation. Any experience working with healthcare professionals would be an advantage.

Appropriate tertiary qualifications (L&D, HR, Marcomms and/or business) is essential together with experience of developing and implementing L&D programs, organising content for events and conferences.

Content development - researching and sourcing and a solid understanding of professional development needs of Masters-trained clinicians in the mental health sector is preferred.

This role will work remotely and as such, this individual will need to work efficiently and productively autonomously as a key member of a small remote administrative team.

You will possess a high level of technical competency and be resourceful. This role will require you to work as an ABN contractor, the hourly rate is commensurate with experience.
