As a Complex Assets Associate in the Securities Services Operations team, you will responsible for ensuring Bank Loans and OTC trades are captured, reconciled and valued correctly in the Accounting system.

Any related trade cash flows also need to be captured accurately in the accounting system and reconciled. You will require accurate and professional resolution of all internal and external queries in a timely manner.

**Major Responsibilities: - Trade capture, valuation and reconciliation of Bilateral and Centrally Cleared Complex Assets as well as Bank loans in trade management and accounting platforms.

  • Oversight of Complex Assets and Bank loans functions performed in different locations globally that support local clients
  • Investigation and clearing of Complex Asset and bank loans related cash breaks between Accounting and Custody
  • Accounting and reconciliation of bank loans and OTC related collateral movements
  • Support the global bank loans onboarding team and product development by assisting with client onboardings
  • Support and Manage onboardings for Clients trading OTC products
  • Involvement in projects and system migrations by working with technology, data and partner teams to continuously improve processes
  • Manage and build relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, including clients
  • Client reporting of Complex Assets and Bank Loans
**Qualifications & Experience Required: - Degree in Commerce, Accounting, Economics or Finance will be preferred.

  • Minimum 2 years Finance experience preferably from either a trade support/middle office environment or similar
  • Broad understanding of OTC Derivatives and Bank Loans in regards to trade capture and life cycle events
  • Knowledge of accounting for OTC Derivatives, OTC Clearing and Bank Loans. Valuations experience is preferable
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present information in a concise and informative manner
  • Extremely detailed and control orientated with high quality standards
  • Strong PC skills, in particular Excel. Experience with digital automation processes will be preferred.
  • Expertise in Client Onboarding will be preferred.
