Key Accountabilities

  • Work with Product Owner to refine and prioritise backlog items.
  • Estimate backlog user stories.
  • Work in twoweek development sprints.
  • Participate in sprint planning sessions at the start of each sprint.
  • Attend daily standup meetings, sprint review sessions and retrospective meetings.
  • Develop automated tests such as unit and UI tests.
  • Develop behaviour driven development testing.
  • WCAG testing to ensure accessibility standards compliance.
  • Multidevice responsiveness testing.
  • Participate in code peer review.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation.
  • Automate deployments.
  • Ensure the integrity and security of all data and software code.

Essential Requirements

  • Tertiary qualification in Computer Science or Engineering or relevant work experience.
  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge of SCRUM principles.
  • Extensive experience in:
  • C#.NET, MVC
  • Object Oriented development (SOLID)
  • Dependency Injection
  • Front end js frameworks (Angular or similar)
  • CSS
  • SQL Server 2012 or higher


  • Unit/UI Testing

  • Selenium automation
  • BDD
  • API and webservice development skills
  • Git
  • Postman
  • Azure DevOps
  • Octopus Deploy
  • Responsive design
  • Demonstrated experience in integrating systems using Queues or Message Bus.
