A Day in the Life:


Key responsibilities include:

  • Working effectively with Allied Health Professionals
  • Providing clinical assistance to Allied Health Professionals implementing therapy programs in consultation with Allied Health Professionals
  • Working with mínimal supervision to implement therapeutic and related activities as delegated
  • Identifying client circumstances requiring additional input from the Allied Health Professional
  • Using advanced communication and interpersonal skills in meeting the needs of clients and the multidisciplinary team

What You Bring:


  • At least 3 years of clinical experience as an Allied Health Assistant
  • Demonstrated clinical experience in working within a health related or relevant field and/or acute, physical, rehabilitation, community or aged care facility
  • Demonstrated welldeveloped interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work within defined scope of practice in a team environment under a direct or remote/ indirect supervision model
  • Ability to accurately recognise and report risk during delivery of care to an Allied Health Professional

What You Need:


  • Successfully completed a Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years experience as a Grade 2 Allied Health Assistant or equivalent
  • Current Victorian Driver's Licence without restrictions
  • Working with Children's Check.

These positions will be based at our Kingston Centre site initially, however, you may be required to work at any of the Monash Health sites.
