Description

You will oversee and be involved in a range of regulatory activities from a compliance, licensing and client service perspective involving the Liquor Act 1992, Casino Control Act 1982, Gaming Machine Act 1991 and other liquor and gaming legislation administered and by the OLGR.


Key responsibilities:


  • Coordinating the allocation of work including complaint and incident investigations, risk assessments and audits to a team of compliance officers.
  • Formulating and coordinating programs of compliance activities using a risk methodology.
  • Reviewing reports on investigations to ensure policies and procedures have been followed and determine and/or recommend further actions in accordance with OLGR enforcement policy.
  • Monitoring compliance issues and trends and developing strategies that can be implemented to reduce the harms associated with liquor and gaming.
  • Undertaking file reviews and other quality assurance assessment to ensure that functions are completed to a high standard and in accordance with approved procedures.
  • Ensuring a high level of service delivery to clients, including the meeting of various key performance indicators.

You may be required to travel throughout the state and interstate and therefore it is preferred you hold a current 'C' class driver licence.
