  • Maintain and monitor internal cyber security platforms, firewalls and other SIEM systems
  • Perform security threat and risk assessments
  • Input to security architecture, strategies and roadmap
  • Temporary Fulltime until June 2024

The Facility


South West Alliance of Rural Health (
SWARH) is an Alliance of public health agencies in the South West of Victoria covering an area of approximately 60,000 sq.

kilometres connecting all public acute hospitals and associated health services in a region extending from west of Melbourne to the South Australian Border.


SWARH has a focus on the development of Information Technology for the Acute Public Hospitals in the South West Region of Victoria.


About the role


As the Cyber Security Analyst, you will play an important role in maintaining and managing existing network security infrastructure and also preparing for improving cybersecurity infrastructure.

You will provide high quality and effective support and advice.

You will be committed to continuing to improve the business by providing their customers with services they value, embedding new ways of secure working and technology investments to further innovate and optimise.

Essential:

Tertiary qualifications or significant progress towards qualifications in Cybersecurity or a related discipline.

Experience in incident response including identifying, drilling down and troubleshooting potential cyber security incidents.

Experience in threat intelligence analysis and staying up to date with latest cyber threats

Essential:

Experience in security log and network traffic analysis

Essential:

Demonstrated experience working with intrusion detection systems (IDS), intrusion prevention systems (IPS), firewalls, antivirus software, SIEM tools in a corporate or campus-based environment (3+ years)

Desirable:
Vendor qualifications and certifications in cybersecurity

Essential:
