About the Opportunity


The Transfer of Technology (ToT) Training Manager is accountable for the establishment and delivery of the ToT Training and broader L&D strategies for ASC's future programs, in concert with relevant internal and external stakeholders.

This role will work within a complex operating environment and will be required to employ _out of the box_ thinking in concert with broader stakeholders to develop fit for purpose solutions.

This role will be required to work closely with the corporate Learning and Development team and key educational institutions.


Responsibilities


The ToT Training Manager will be responsible for developing a gap analysis process that identifies the required competency gaps across future programs of work; including gaps within the Australian vocational and higher education training frameworks and developing learning initiatives to bridge these gaps.

This role will also be responsible for leading the development of learning programs to address projected workforce supply gaps and leading the development of learning programs to address projected workforce supply gaps.


Skills & Experiences

  • Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Learning & Development, Education or similar discipline
  • Minimum of 8 10 years' demonstrated experience in a similar role with specific experience in defining/implementing learning and development strategies and undertaking gap analysis at a program or organisation level.
  • Demonstrated experience in collaborating with educational institutions to develop/tailor accredited and nonaccredited training programs.
  • Extensive knowledge of the vocational and higher education frameworks and sectors within Australia
  • Experience in the development and continuous improvement of competency frameworks
  • Effective project management skills with welldeveloped time management skills to plan workload, prioritise and meet deadlines; and
  • Demonstrated ability in the development of high level learning strategies and translation to operational plans
