You will provide support to the Experiential Marketing Manager in the end to end delivery of experiential marketing initiatives, including events, customer engagements and other marketing extensions.
In partnership with the Experiential Marketing Manager you will deliver creative solutions that foster lasting relationships with our customers, partners and fans of our brand.
This position will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, whilst carefully tracking budgets and results.
The key measurement metrics you will use include:
- Marketing: PTO / BAS / NPS (Customer & Staff)
- Sales: Revenue / Market Share
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support the Experiential Marketing Manager in the execution and delivery of MX's annual experiential and events marketing plan and associated initiatives.
- Develop, manage, execute and evaluate the end to end event strategies to support the Channel partner / Retail / B2B event streams.
- Develop and maintain a yearly calendar of Events & Experiential activity across the Marketing team and wider MX division.
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to define event goals, objectives and specific implementation plans. Work to enhance existing event plans bringing creative ideas to life that work within the outlined budget.
- Project manage the events planning process with responsibility to manage cross divisional project teams, timelines, milestones and identify roadblocks and challenges that could impact the successful execution of any Samsung E&E activity.
- Assist the Experiential Marketing Manager with the implementation of larger scale experiential campaigns as required.
- Develop and consistently report on ROI against key metrics as decided in the planning process along with full project evaluation and key learnings.
- Manage budgets ensuring all activity is processed with Samsung's guidelines and within budget
- Ensure there are consistencies in brand and experience across all executions and continually strive for best in class
- Agency Management manage the key deliverables across all agency partners with a long term view of portfolio planning and achieving economies of scale
- Support the Experiential Marketing Manager with creating project documentation, business approval submissions and other internal Samsung process requirements.
- Coordinate with wider divisions where required to ensure resources are available.
About You:
- Tertiary degree in relevant field required (e.g. Events management, business, marketing, communications)
- You're passionate about events and experiential marketing.
- 23+ years experience in events / experiential marketing
- Proven experience managing budgets or P&Ls.
- Capable of working under pressure in fast paced environments.
- Strong stakeholder management and delivering results within a cross functional matrix organization.
- Experience in agency relationship management.
- Strong skills in negotiation and the evaluation of results, ensuring continuous improvement.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiples events and budgets.
- Strong analytical and organization skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to author and design presentations.
- Strong project management skills with ability to autonomously implement and execute.
- Advanced level ability in Microsoft Office suite of products including Excel, PowerPoint, Word
