How you will make an impact


We are looking for a dynamic qualified Grade 2 Allied Health Assistant (AHA), with experience working in inpatient rehabilitation, to be part of our physiotherapy team at Brighton.

This role involves working with physiotherapists to deliver group and individual therapy sessions.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Facilitate safe and appropriate completion of a prescribed exercise program, in a group and individual setting, as outlined by the treating physiotherapist.
  • Ensure the safe and timely transport of patients to their therapy session in the gym.
  • Escalate patient concerns to treating physiotherapist/rehab team leader.
  • Ensure good communication, effective relationships and teamwork between peers and other clinical staff and services.
  • Assist with administrative duties as outlined by the Grade 3 AHA, supervising physiotherapist, or team leader.
About you


You will have:

  • Relevant Allied Health Assistant qualifications.
  • Experienced in exercise delivery & managing groups of patients in a rehabilitation setting is advantageous.
  • Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team in a structured rehabilitation environment.
  • Welldeveloped written and verbal communication skills with a strong clientcustomer service focus.
  • Welldeveloped time management skills.
