We are currently seeking a motivated and dedicated
Factory Hand to join our team
. Come and work for the largest manufacturer of Solar Powered Traffic Management equipmentin the southern hemisphere.


About The Role


The employee's general duties include but are not limited to the assembling and wiring of trailers and Variable Message Signs (VMS), electronic signs and /or manufacturing of other sign or related equipment as instructed by the Employer through the management supervisory chain.

Assembly line work is involved.

The Factory Hand is an operator performing only a particular task or a number of predetermined tasks in the assembly process.

They are in turn responsible for only a certain task or tasks. The allocation of tasks is set by the Managing Director or Production Manager.

  • Machine operation
  • Cleaning of work environment
  • Work involves heavy lifting

About You

  • Punctuality, honest, initiative, selfmotivated
  • Good personality
  • Well organised
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to follow instruction and work unsupervised
  • Team player
  • Welding experience with Mig & Tig desirable
  • Forklift license
  • Own transport essential

Salary:
$ $28.46 per hour


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:

  • Overtime pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Sunshine, VIC 3020: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
