About the role

Reporting to the Manager Information Technology Services, the Digital Asset Manager will work closely with the digital leadership team, senior management and the wider operational business to ensure the sustainability of West Moreton Health's (WMH) digital assets.

This role is required to lead the development of the asset lifecycle and replacement planning processes, ensuring ICT hardware and software assets are known, recorded and accessible, and input into organisational annual asset planning activities.

The Digital Asset Manager will deliver regular reporting on the current state of ICT assets and their compliance, identifying immediate and long-term opportunities.

About you

  • Broad knowledge and understanding of the major trends, strategic directions and legislative and governance frameworks related to ICT asset management, with the capacity to successfully adopt and champion them in the healthcare environment.
  • Ability to promote and ensure the use of appropriate ICT asset management techniques, methodologies and tools, including benefits realisation and risk and issue management, to ensure quality outcomes are delivered.
  • Highly developed interpersonal, presentation and consultation skills, with the ability to negotiate, influence and maintain effective relationships with senior and multidisciplinary staff at the organisational, state and national levels and other key stakeholders.

Mandatory Requirements:


  • Vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 01/1
  • Vaccinated against COVID19 as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO.12/21and the Queensland Health Human Resources Policy B70.
