We're hiring a
Territory Account Manager for Riverina/Southern NSW.


This role is an exciting opportunity to work with an industry leading portfolio and pipeline of products focused on providing sustainable and robust solutions to a wide variety of crops and production systems.


The Territory Account Manager role is responsible for servicing the demand generation and customer sales of innovative new product solutions and leading established brands within the territory.


This opportunity requires someone who is self-motivated, passionate about the agriculture and food sector, and believes in promoting sustainable and progressive management practices.


Reporting to the Southern Australian Sales Leader and working closely with the Australian Commercial team, this role involves management of key accounts and engagement with key end users within the territory, with a focus on customer support and strategic relationships, technical product promotion and positioning, and territory management planning.


Key responsibilities include:


  • Manage the overall operations of the geographical sales territory.
  • Develop indepth practical and technical knowledge of Corteva Agriscience products, with a particular focus on product positioning and stewardship.
  • Use data to predict future market conditions, identify market gaps and opportunities to develop new business opportunities.
  • Utilize business tools to report sales forecasts and budgetary considerations in response to market conditions.
  • Develop and maintain a territory plan that prioritizes activities around key market segments and customers.
  • Develop annual sales targets and valuecreating goals in accordance with Corteva Agriscience business strategies and objectives.
  • Identify, develop, and maintain relationships with key strategic 'end users' and large farming enterprises with clear intent of value creation.
  • Successfully integrate new products into the market and identify emerging market opportunities.
  • Establish demonstration sites and conduct field days suitable for viewing by external customers.
  • Effective management of customer and channel partner relationships.

Qualifications:


  • Tertiary qualifications in Agriculture.
  • Minimum three years agricultural industry experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to negotiate and build relationships with a diverse range of people.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Account Management experience is preferred.
  • Understanding of agronomy and modern crop production; including horticultural cropping.
  • Ability to train others in use of products and techniques.
  • Selfmotivated and highly results orientated, but also values working within a team environment.
  • Customer focused with the ability and interpersonal skill to quickly build relationships.
