Enviornmental Health Officer - Band - Inner city council - contract until April
- $44.26 p/h plus super

Public Sector People are working with a local council based in the inner suburbs of Melbourne on the recruitment of an Environmental Health Officer.

This is a contract role until Mid-April 2024.

The core function of the role is to help get through a backlog of inspections.

This includes conducting compliance assessments, inspections, investigating consumer complaints, undertaking food and water sampling and assessment of food safety programs and their compliance.

Requirements include:

Bachelor of Applied Science (Environmental Health) or equivalent including eligibility to be a member of Environmental Health Australia.
Proven ability to work as an effective team member, input into team processes, actively and positively contribute to team goals, and demonstrate positive behaviours and attitudes within the team environment.
