    Description

    Our client is a large scale project delivery organisation part of a global parent company. In recent years the finance team has experienced significant headcount growth to support acquisitions, with a restructure aimed to enable finance to better partner and add value cross-functionally within the business.

    As a result of this growth and change, the CFO is looking to recruit a qualified Senior Commercial Analyst to support the leadership team through commercial finance, business analytics, modelling, management reporting, and consolidated budgets, forecasts, and KPI/performance reporting.

    This is a fantastic opportunity to join a high performing finance team in Brisbane, with an impressive direct leader and team to learn from.

    Key responsibilities will include:

    • Financial modelling of growth opportunities including acquisitions, business case preparation, and providing strategic insights.
    • Assisting with delivery of management reporting packs, group forecasts & budgets, and ad-hoc business analytics required to support decision making.
    • Lead improvements to reporting, financial & corporate models, business intelligence dashboards (for KPI's), and other reporting tools/systems.
    • Developing collaborative relationships throughout the business, actively seeking out opportunities to add value through financial analysis, business partnering, BI, and financial modelling.

    Ideally, the successful candidate will bring tertiary studies across Finance, Accounting, or Business and also CA/CPA/CFA qualifications. To be considered further, this role does require proven modelling and financial analysis skills ideally gained through complex corporate organisations or professional services (M&A, Corporate Finance, Modelling, Advisory).
