This is a single vacancy, with two possible appointment classifications. The successful applicants will be appointed in the position appropriate to their skills, qualifications, and experience.


Join the Biomedical Engineering Department at SALHN which is committed to ensuring that biomedical technology needed by its clients is appropriate, available, safe, used effectively, functioning correctly and compliant with relevant laws, regulations and standards.


To be successful in this role, you will need experience in the acquisition, maintenance and repair of electronic equipment to meet strict engineering standards, sound experience in providing analysis and expertise to resolve operational issues for complex medical equipment and systems, within an environment in which client and staff safety is paramount, and the ability to work effectively under limited direction, either independently or in a team, and to analyse complex information, meet deadlines and work under pressure, and effectively use work related resources and information.
