About the role


At NESA we are presently focused on an exciting, transformational program of curriculum reform, and this role is a great opportunity to join a team of passionate educators.


In this position, you will primarily lead the development of the Science 7-10 syllabus support material for the curriculum reform process.

Importantly this includes working collaboratively with a team of Subject Matter Experts across the eight learning areas to ensure that there is consistency and coherence in the alignment of the Science 7-10 syllabus support materials.


Your other day-to-day basis responsibilities will include:

  • preparing reports, briefings, and data in relation to the evidence base that supports appropriately sequenced and quality Science development to support syllabus support material development.
- providing advice in regard to national and international research that informs best practice in science 7-10 learning.
- using technology to effectively support the syllabus support material development process.
