Administrative Services Coordinator

  • The Metabolic Diseases Unit (MDU) is a specialist unit providing state wide services to patients across Victoria and Tasmania with a range of inborn errors of metabolism. With growing patient numbers, this small team is highly committed to their patients, working closely together in a multidisciplinary team to achieve the best patient outcomes.

Your new role:


  • Set up the best administrative processes and systems for the best possible patient outcomes.
  • Work closely with your clinical colleagues to understand their needs and how to best support the team.
  • Liaise effectively with patients, different RMH departments and partners across Australia.
  • Coordinate new and review appointments for the Metabolic Diseases Unit outpatient clinics.
  • Assist with general administrative duties to ensure the smooth running of the service.

About you:


  • You are a highly organised, collaborative and proactive person who loves designing and implementing new ways of working.
  • You are an experienced administrator bringing both RMH and other experiences to the team.
  • You are looking to be an integral member of the Metabolic team and work supportively and constructively at all times.
  • You have excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • You have strong IT skills and MS office experience.
