Maxima, in partnership with the South West Aboriginal Land & Sea Council (SWALSC), are on the lookout for a motivated individual to undertake a traineeship as a Business Support Trainee.


SWALSC represents the traditional owners of the south west of Western Australia and has an important role in the Settlement with the Western Australian Government.

This settlement resolves all native title claims in the south west in exchange for around $1.3 billion in land and other benefits for Noongar people.


This entry-level opportunity will see you providing high-quality and timely administrative support to all teams including membership, projects, and land.

Throughout this fulltime traineeship you will receive hands-on industry experience, and paid study time to achieve a
Certificate III in Business within the
Administration Stream.


Upon completion you will be equipped with the knowledge and skills to take on any professional career, in any industry


Duties Include:


  • Respond to customer enquiries via phone and facetoface
  • Assist to book meeting and travel requirements
  • Monitor all communication and record in relevant systems
  • Document processing including filing, archiving, printing etc.
  • Additional administrative duties

About You:


  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Can prioritise time and tasks effectively
  • Upbeat and proactive attitude
  • Prides themselves on having an eye for detail
  • Works effectively as part of a team and under limited supervision
  • Showcases initiative and an ability to problem solve

Role Requirements:


  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office
  • Current driver's licence and access to reliable vehicle
  • Customer service or administration experience (desirable)
