What you do matters
- We're looking for a passionate and caring person for a
Lifestyle Lead (Lifestyle Coordinator) position at Clarinda on the Park - a 90 bed residential home, lcoated in Clayton / Clarinda. In this role you'll lead the implementation and improvement of a creative and engaging lifestyle program to support our residents to live their best life and achieve their personal goals.
- Your 'typical day' will have you:
- Coordinating recreational and social programs that enhance the well-being of our residents
- Providing direction and leadership to a Lifestyle Assistant
- Assisting each resident individually in accordance with the lifestyle plan document and ensuring information is recorded accurately
- Ensuring all programs meet both residents' needs and accreditation standards
- Demonstrating an understanding of the cognitive, social and spiritual needs of our residents and their families
- Engaging our residents and encouraging them to be part of their local community
- Assisting with meaningful and enriching activities that provide choice to each person
- We're looking for someone with:
- Experience in designing and delivering recreational and social activites and progams in aged care homes or similar settings
- Leadership, time management and problem solving skills
- Passion for working in aged care, and using this passion to engage and connect with residents and their families
- Empathy and an ability to build strong connections with residents and their loved ones
- A Certificate III/IV in Lifestyle and Leisure or qualifications in community development are highly desirable
- A current Driver's Licence (desirable)
- As a valued employee, look forward to:
- A hourly rate / salary of $34-$37 per hour / $67k-$73k per annum + 10.5% superannution
