We're looking for a passionate and caring person for a

-
Lifestyle Lead (Lifestyle Coordinator) position at Clarinda on the Park - a 90 bed residential home, lcoated in Clayton / Clarinda. In this role you'll lead the implementation and improvement of a creative and engaging lifestyle program to support our residents to live their best life and achieve their personal goals.

Your 'typical day' will have you:
Coordinating recreational and social programs that enhance the well-being of our residents
Providing direction and leadership to a Lifestyle Assistant
Assisting each resident individually in accordance with the lifestyle plan document and ensuring information is recorded accurately
Ensuring all programs meet both residents' needs and accreditation standards
Demonstrating an understanding of the cognitive, social and spiritual needs of our residents and their families
Engaging our residents and encouraging them to be part of their local community
Assisting with meaningful and enriching activities that provide choice to each person
We're looking for someone with:
Experience in designing and delivering recreational and social activites and progams in aged care homes or similar settings
Leadership, time management and problem solving skills
Passion for working in aged care, and using this passion to engage and connect with residents and their families
Empathy and an ability to build strong connections with residents and their loved ones
A Certificate III/IV in Lifestyle and Leisure or qualifications in community development are highly desirable
A current Driver's Licence (desirable)
As a valued employee, look forward to:
A hourly rate / salary of $34-$37 per hour / $67k-$73k per annum + 10.5% superannution
