  • Monday
  • Thursday (3 days per week, flexible on days)

About the Family:
This role is for a welcoming professional family with two young children. In their family time they enjoy weekends at the parks, swimming, soccer and eating out. The children are 2.5 years old (boy) and 9 months old (girl). Both parents are full time professionals. The eldest child brings fun and energy; he enjoys parks, bikes, playgrounds, reading stories and swimming. The youngest child has just mastered the art of standing and eating solids. Both kids have a good sleep routine. An old and friendly Labradoodle (dog) completes the family.


What we are looking for:
We are looking for a nanny who is creative and passionate about cooking and planning meals.

A special person, who thrives in a family environment and can work as part of a team to assist with afternoon and bedtime routines.

Ideally our nanny would be creative and fun with the children and have a warm, mature personality.

This family has a cleaner and will only expect that the nanny do general tidying, dishes and clean up (no deep cleaning required).

This nanny will be driving the children around on rare occasions so must have a clean driving record and licence.


A glimpse into the role:
Between 4pm-5pm home-helper duties will be the main role. These will include creating a meal plan for the family and assisting with an online grocery order.

These parents have openly expressed that cooking and meal planning is a challenge for them and they would greatly benefit from a nanny that is passionate in the kitchen.

Nanny will need to unpack groceries on delivery day and prepare dinner. A thorough tidy up of the house will be needed on the day before the home cleaners come.

Mum will generally complete the day-care pick up and bring the children home.

On the rare occasion that both parents are unavailable, the nanny will be required to do day care pick up (car can be provided).

The nanny will then assist parents with evening routine; quiet playing with the children (e.g. quiet colouring, reading stories and playing with toys), feeding them dinner, bathing and dressing them in pyjamas, putting the children to bed, and kitchen clean up.


Tasks:


  • Assisting with afternoon and bedtime routines
  • Cooking meals, online grocery shopping & meal planning
  • Bathing and clothing children
  • Light household duties: tidying toys, dishes, and general tidy up of the house before cleaners come.
  • Very occasional daycare pick up in family vehicle

Transport:
Licence required with family vehicle provided


Must have:

  • Blue card
  • First Aid and CPR Certificate
  • Experience with children between (from 9 months to 3 years) in a professional role
  • 2 x Reference checks
  • Drivers Licence
