You'll be responsible for:

Working closely with a team of Underwriters and Member Service Specialists to source and underwrite profitable new business opportunities.
Executing effective new business strategies whilst leveraging renewals to further develop relationships with our key business partners.
Working effectively with the broader Underwriting team to develop Club Marine's capabilities and foster a collegiate underwriting culture.
Monitoring performance to ensure key financial indicators are achieved, namely GWP, Profit and Pricing control measures.
Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders within Branch and other Club Marine divisions.

Important to your success:

Knowledge of the Australian insurance market, industry practices and governing legislation.
Passion or knowledge for Boating
Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to both build relationships and influence at all levels.
A strategic thinker with an analytical mindset and the ability to problem solve.
Strong communication skills both written and verbal which allows exceptional negotiation and influencing capabilities.
Sound data analysis skills which will allow you to understand the portfolio performance and gain insights for improvement
Motivation to expand, learn and grow within a high performing team
Available (8:00am 6:00pm) Monday to Friday
