Description

The core capability requirements for this role are:

  • Provide leadership and direction to coordinate and manage human and physical resources within an area of responsibility to ensure operations are aligned with relevant standards and policies, community expectations and client needs.
  • Manage purchasing, payments, and new and ongoing contracts, including purchasing and maintenance of office equipment and other assets.
  • Analyse trends in relation to operational and resource demands and prepare and present submissions and input into operational plans and strategies including advice to the Manager, regarding future resource needs.
  • Identify, develop, and Implement strategies to achieve goals, standards and performance indicators including information technology, that improve efficiency within the Unit (or Section or Program) and support management to enable fully informed management decisions.
  • Cultivate relationships and effective communication with key stakeholders and service providers in line with desired legislative outcomes and represent Unit (or Section or Program) in internal and external committees.
  • Manage and coordinate, in liaison with the Manager and senior staff, the preparation of the financial budget and monitor expenditure and provide timely advice to management.

Role Requirements:


  • The successful applicant will be required to undergo psychological assessment prior to appointment.
