KEY ACTIVITIES
- Provide proactive and differentiated research on the small cap sector
- Develop financial models & valuation databases for all stocks under primary coverage
- Respond to market news, earnings releases, corporate developments and other marketmoving information when necessary and in a proactive manner
- Develop and maintain key client relationships
- Actively engage with clients and the relevant sales team members to communicate ideas to ensure maximum exposure/return from the time invested in producing research reports
- Maintain sound working relationships with corporates, clients and government/industry organisations

Analysts should view their role as an integral part of the team's success.
Effective teamwork contribution; actively generate ideas for the teams development; communicate issues that require action; support each other and ask for help when needed.

KEY COMPETENCIES/SKILLS/ EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor degree or above in business related discipline, preferably with finance and/or accounting major
- 310 years' experience as a research associate/analyst. Alternatively a funds management, accounting and industry experience would be considered
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong understanding of financial modelling
- Strong excel/ spreadsheet skills
- Excellent interpersonal sensitivity
- High sense of commercial awareness
- Excellent communication, relationship and management skills to both internal and external clients
