    Established insurance and financial services company with an invested and highly professional team.

    Position
    You will be responsible for

    • Assisting the Manager – Internal audit in the day-to-day internal audit tasks and group function audits.
    • Undertake financial, compliance and operational risk audits of equity businesses in accordance with the Audit Committee approved Internal Audit Plan.
    • Assist in carrying out audits across the group
    • Objectively review business processes including those of its investees
    • Protect against fraud and theft of the organization's assets.
    • Assist in ensuring that the organisation is in compliance with relevant laws and regulation i.e. compliance with ASIC, Companies Act etc.
    • Make recommendations to improve internal controls and governance processes.

    Profile
    CA/CPA Qualified with 5-8 years plus experience with large, complex global businesses. The ability to
    manage multiple and competing priorities calmly.
    Excellent communication, written communication and problem solving skills are required. You will be highly capable of building constructive relationships with team members and diverse stakeholders.
    You will have the ability to work in a very detailed manner as well as to look broadly across a business and develop connections and themes identifying risk and concerns.

    Benefits
    Hybrid model. Anchor office days are Tuesday – Thursday. Flexible on hours.
    $125-130k + super, 6 month contract
