About the opportunity:

We are currently looking for a Maintenance Fitter to work at our Clayton, Melbourne manufacturing site.

As an integral member of the Clayton maintenance team, the Shift Maintenance Fitter will make a strong contribution to a high performing Operations team and team culture within our Clayton Manufacturing Site.

You will provide high quality maintenance and repairs to equipment throughout the plant, with a strong emphasis on preventative maintenance, to achieve acceptable production levels and a high standard in engineering support.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Carry out preventative maintenance to plant and equipment within the facility
  • Carry out service and repair of Mechanical plant and equipment within the facility, Prioritise all types of given work
  • Diagnose faults and carry out modifications to equipment
  • Participate in all training as required by the company
  • Effective reporting of any issues relating to company SH&E & QA policies
  • Point of contact when attending a breakdown

Experience required:


  • Mechanical trade certificate
  • High level of technical and diagnostic skills
  • Processed based risk assessment skills
  • Excellent communication and numeracy skills
